Webtoon Ent., Dark Horse Comics Partner to Bring Major Franchises to Digital Platform

WEBTOON Entertainment Inc. announced on Tuesday it is expanding its partnership with Dark Horse Comics to bring a slate of popular IPs — including Cyberpunk 2077, Critical Role: The Mighty Nein Origins, The Witcher, The Legend of Korra, and Plants vs. Zombies™ — to its English-language platform in vertical-scroll format. These titles will begin rolling out in the second half of 2025.The new deal builds on WEBTOON and Dark Horse's successful collaboration with Avatar: The Last Airbender comics, which have garnered over 13 million views on WEBTOON.Titles coming to WEBTOON include:Launch dates will be announced later. In addition, support for the Dark Horse Comics and Plants vs. Zombies Comics apps for iOS devices ended on March 31.WEBTOON has also recently partnered with IDW Publishing to bring several of the publisher's popular titles to its English-language platform.
